The 2017 Boy’s Summer Slam lacrosse tournament was a huge success! The tournament featured over 235 teams from across the United States, the largest amount of teams the tournament has ever had! Summer Slam encompassed 18 divisions that ranged from elementary school players to elite athletes of the high school age groups. The tournament was held at three sites: The Westtown School, West Chester East High School, and Delacy Soccer Complex.
The Boy’s Summer Slam hosted a variety retailers and equipment suppliers featuring the hottest styles in lacrosse. New heads, sticks, equipment, apparel, and accessories were all put on sale at the tournament sites!
The recent partnership of the Victory Event Series-Boy’s Summer Slam lacrosse tournament and Más Mexicali Cantina sparked excitement for tournament attendees. The restaurant hosted a fantastic coaches social for Summer Slam coaches Saturday night. Boy’s Summer Slam also featured highly experienced trainers from the NovaCare Rehabilitation tending to any player, parent, or spectator in need of assistance.
The Boys Summer Slam began in 2010 and in its 8th year has grown into an elite summer staple. Drawing teams from across the country, this event delivers the whole package from the Friday night clinic and All-Star games at Kelly Fields to high school recruiting at The Westtown School to the youth festival atmosphere at both West Chester East High School and the Delacy Sports Complex in West Chester, PA.
