Victory Events is accepting applications for the Victory 1st Award, awarded to a future first-generation college student to assist in their college application and recruiting process. Winners are chosen on their ability to display leadership and community service.

Last year’s honoree was Alexander Ellison, a 2023 defenseman from Duncanville High School (TX), who played for the grassroots Bridge program, a non-profit organization in the Dallas area that provides lacrosse programs to under-resourced and urban youth.

The Victory 1st Award winner earns a free spot in a 2023 Summer Victory Events showcase ($250-325 value) of the winner’s choice. A 2023 Fall Showcase event could be substituted.

The Victory 1st Award also provides these free tools (totaling over $2000) for honorees:

• Next Level Video highlight package
• SportsRecruits membership
• Promotion on TopLaxRecruits (feature article, social media shoutouts)

Victory Event Series is proud to team up with our incredible partners to award more than $1,500 worth of recruiting tools to a deserving student. Selection criteria includes, but is not limited to, whether an applicant will be a first generation college student, financial need, leadership positions or projects undertaken, and other challenges overcome. *Per NCAA rules, athletic ability and awards will not be used in selecting the Victory 1st Award winner.
