UPDATE – Parents & Players – **** Unfortunately the city of Plano informed us that ALL fields are unplayable and we will have to CANCEL ALL GAMES today (6/4). The city will be reevaluating the fields at 6PM, and decisions will be made accordingly. Our plan for tomorrow, is to play off a shorten schedule (probably 30 minute games) and add a few additional fields. Thank you for your continued patience and we’ll have a revised schedule out later this morning / early afternoon Feel free to reach out to us with any questions or concerns at:

The City of Plano and the Parks and Recreation Department informed us today that they will be onsite between 7:00-8:00AM tomorrow to re-access the fields and make a decision on letting us keep our 12:00 PM start time. Our plan is to start at noon tomorrow until we hear otherwise. Once we get word from Parks & Rec we will update this page and email all coaches. Regarding tonight’s Clinic we are still waiting on a final approval to move the clinic and All-Star Game. If we can’t get approval the All-Star Game will be cancelled but the Clinic will be held adjacent to Field D at Russell Creek Park. We are hoping to have answers on one of two turf facilities by 2pm. Thank you all again for your continued patience.

Weather Update 6/2

Hi Coaches – as you know, my staff and the City of Plano have been monitoring the weather all week. Our main priority is the safety of the teams participating. After several internal conversations we are taking a proactive position to move ALL SATURDAY GAMES back four (4) hours so games will now start at 12:00PM (Saturday Only). Corrected game times are now reflected on the public schedule. Additionally, games scheduled for 8:20PM on Fields J, K and L have been re-assigned to a field with lights (Fields A-H).

As for the Clinic Friday night, the Park is allowing us to use “non-field” grass space. I am meeting with the Park folks in the morning to identify the best & safest space. If we deem there is no safe space then we will hold a College Coach Q & A session under the pavilion at Russell Creek Park and offer a 50% refund. Finally, we are working with the City to identify the best place to host the All-Star Game (possibly off-site) – please stay tuned until we have a location. I appreciate everyone’s patience and concern. We are working to keep lines of communication open as this remains a fluid situation.

Thank you and stay tuned,
Jeff Long
President & CEO
