Little Rock LaxFest is back for its 8th year at Burns Park! The event is scheduled for February 16-17, 2019. LaxFest is becoming one of the largest lacrosse events in the region with more than 700 players from Arkansas, Tennessee, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Missouri, and Texas. Of those teams, 5 represent Little Rock! This year LaxFest is being run by Victory Event Series, an elite event group dedicated to growing lacrosse in the South. Victory prides itself on delivering an ELITE lacrosse experience full of fun, family, competition and vendors. This year’s event will feature many sponsors, including the North Little Rock Convention & Visitors Bureau, Arkansas Children’s hospital, and more! All are welcome to come out and enjoy two exciting days of lacrosse! The event is free to the public.
This tourament features boys and girls teams ranged from fourth grade up through high school. All teams will be guarenteed four games consisting of 44 minutes with 22 minute running halves. The event will be fully staffed with certified officials, field coordinators, and Athletic Trainers. To make the tournament as spectator friendly as possible, all pools, standings, brackets, game times, scores and more will be instantaneously accessible through the Tourney Machine mobile app.
On Saturday afternoon, Victory Event Series will also be hosting a boys and girls one-hour clinic from 12-1PM. This is a wonderful opportunity for LaxFest participants to learn position specific skills and tips from regional collegiate Men’s and Women’s coaches and players.
