Victory Event Series Sells out Boys Summer Slam 2018; Accepting Waiting List Teams

    Thornton, PA – Victory Event Series is pleased to announce that their original summer tournament, and this year’s 9th Annual Boys Summer Slam Lacrosse Tournament is Sold Out. With over 230 participating teams, this event will host 4,700 youth and high school boys athletes as well as nearly 13,000 spectators. This event will feature three immaculate venues in the West Chester, PA area and teams from twelve states including: Colorado, Delaware, Illinois, Massachusetts, Maryland, Michigan, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Texas and Virginia.

    This sold-out event will kick off Saturday June 23 at 8:00AM and will conclude Sunday afternoon, June 24th with Championship finals at all divisions. The high school portion of the event will take place at The Westtown School and feature both AA and A divisions at each graduation year. The Victory Event Series staff has been registering college coaches to attend and expect to host 70+ recruiters throughout the weekend. High School grad years total are as follows: thirty 2019 teams, twenty-two 2020 teams and twenty-five 2021 teams. Additionally the rising freshman group of 2022s includes another 28 which will be assigned venues based on capacity.

    Our middle school divisions from 2023 – 2025 are split into three competition levels including AA, A and B. The rising 8th graders, our 2023s will include 38 teams. The rising 7th graders, the 2024s includes 28 teams and the 2025 rising 6th graders includes 32 teams. Our youngest divisions include the 2026 and 9U divisions, which will both feature an A and B division for the varying competition levels at these age groups. The rising 4th graders, our 2026 divisions split 21 teams and the 9U divisions will feature an additional 14 teams.

    Teams are schedule to play 3 or four pool play games and then either play a fourth and final consolation game or advance to a single elimination playoff bracket to decide the 2018 Boys Summer Slam Champions. Last year’s 2017 Champions include:

    • 2021 AA/A: Chaos 2021 (TX) / Dukes Mainline 2021/22 (PA)
    • 2022 A/B: Chaos 2022 (TX) / Kooper’s Lacrosse Club (MD)
    • 2023 A/B: Mesa Futures Orange 2023 (PA) / Upper Level 2023 (NJ)
    • 2024 A/B: Looney’s 2024 Orange (Zingos) (MD) / NJLA 2024 (NJ)
    • 2025 A/B : Uprising 2025 (PA) / Springfield 2025 (PA)
    • 2026 A/B: BBL 2026 (NJ) / Freedom 2026 (PA)

    The tournament will be packed with fun vendors and concessions options at each of the three tournament venues. The schedule for this event will be posted by 4:00PM on June 14, 2018.  Space is available for players to register individually to participate in Friday Night’s Skills Clinic featuring ten college coaches teaching skill specific training. Registration is open.

    Additionally, spots remain open for the Beast of the East Showcase held Friday June 22, 2028 leading into the Boys Summer Slam. This event will feature 2019, 2020, 2021 & 2022 players from around the country at the MapleZone Sports Institute and is an opportunity for 216 athletes to showcase their talent to 50 plus college coaches in attendance. The cost is $249 per player and registration is open.
