On June 16th-17th The Big Easy Classic will be returning to Mandeville, LA in Pelican Park. Boys lacrosse clubs from Kentucky to Texas will meet in an action-packed weekend across ages as young as 10 years old, to high school players looking for an opportunity to play at the next level. For the last 5 years, Victory Event Series has brought a great weekend of lacrosse to the south in hopes to continue spreading the love of the game to all different parts of the nation.
Louisiana is becoming one of the places in contention for the next hotbed of lacrosse. Starting in the Northeast and making its way quickly south, the game has grown exponentially in the past couple years and it is no more evident anywhere other than here. When the event started in 2013 there were only a handful of teams participating. This year we expect around 60 teams to come join us! Lacrosse is only half the story at this event though. Vendors, concessions, and many other fun things will distract you as you walk from field to field keeping all kinds of spectators interested. Come out for a weekend of lacrosse and fun while the weather, and the season of summer lacrosse, start to heat up.
